In light of the sustainable growth of China’s economy and the ever strenthening of the comprehensive national power, as well as the further expansion of the foreign trade and economic exchanges, the Renminbi has already crossed national boundaries and circulated extensively in the neighboring countries and regions of China; the internationalization of the Renminbi is an inevitable trend. Internationalizing the Renminbi not only would reduce China’s loss of wealth due to the use of foreign currencies, it would at the same time, open up a wider room of development for the sustainable growth of China’s economy.

However, there are still many uncertain factors and risks in the process of internationalizing the Renminbi, and the national economy may even be affected and impacted by the process. So, this is a formidable task and a systematic project. By analyzing the necessity of Renminbi internationalization, this paper mainly considers the risks that have to borne In the process, and attempts to offer some strategic proposals.
